2. Market Effectively.    You can’t sell your home if no one knows about it.  Familiarize yourself with marketing techniques to bring in traffic. Spend some money to advertise.  Find your market – know where to find the people who will buy your home and who have enough money to buy it.
3. Make sure your home is “showable”.  Small changes can make a big difference.  Re-grouting tiles, painting, new switch covers and replacing cabinet knobs can make an impact.  People open cabinets and closets so make sure they are organized and clean.  Get rid of clutter and hide cords.  Trim the lawn and the hedges.  Plant flowers if it’s in season to add some color.
